김다슬은 영상, 증강현실, 제너러티브 및 인터랙티브, 게임 아트 등 뉴 미디어 매체를 사용하여 비인간 주체에 투영된 인간 생태계를 보여주고 몸, 정체성, 물질과 비물질, 기술과 존재 등에 대한 확장된 해석을 제시한다. 디지털에 대한 사적 친밀감을 바탕으로 디지털 대양감과 가상존대에 대한 비인간주의적 접근을 보여주는 그의 작업은 플랫폼L, 뮤지엄 산, 탈영역우정국, 오시선 등과 미국 Supercollider Gallery, Art Mora Gallery, Oxy Arts 등에서 선보여졌고 양자 미술 및 AI 아트 대회에서 수상한 바 있다. 이화여자대학교에서 조소와 미술사를 공부했고 UCLA에서 미디어 아트 석사학위를 받았다.

Dasul Kim is a media artist who explores the human ecosystem reflected in non-human entities through a digital oceanic feeling and an inhumanist approach. She employs a range of new media, including video, augmented reality, generative art, interactive projects, and game art. Her work offers an expanded interpretation of concepts such as body, identity, the tangible and intangible, technology, and existence. Her pieces have been showcased in South Korea at venues including Platform L, Museum San, Post Territory Ujeongguk, Osisun, COEX, and KINTEX. In the U.S., her work has been displayed at Supercollider Gallery, Oxy Arts, New Wight Gallery, and Art Mora Gallery. She has won awards in quantum art and AI art competitions. She holds a BFA in Sculpture and Art History and an MFA in Sculpture from Ewha Womans University, as well as an MFA in Design Media Arts from UCLA.
